New Ampex	Limbo.

DCA scanner:	Still awaiting replacement parts.  Time to bug DCA - LES.

Ampex Discs:	DEK drive in service.  LLL drive's head 17 writes bad data.
		Will grumble at Ampex through JBR - ME.

9-track tapes:	Limbo - LES.

Datamedias:	Promises, promises - LES.

UDS modems:	One line didn't work last night - LES.

Varian Plotter:	It works as of yesterday! - TED.  Video mode system software
		being developed - ME.

Foonly C1:	Hangs occasionally - ME.

KBD serializer:	Prototype will be tested soon - ROB.

TI 990 computer: Delivered with two cartridge disks and floppies - ROB.

				PROGRAMS

WAITS:		April availability 92% -- only 4 software crashes during the month.
		Found a major free storage bug -- it threw away gobs of space
		whenever anyone typed on a keyboard and "No disc channels" was
		showing.
		System now handles monitor commands longer than 95 characters - ME
		TALK no longer works for not-logged-in users, but they can still
		SEND - MRC.

DIALNET:	Successfully transferred most of a file from SAIL to GSB
		(it didn't CLOSE properly) - MRC.

DO:		Nee features  -- READ DO - MLB.

Find-a-font:	New edition being prepared - PAT & LES.

				RUMORS

Lab move:	The probability that the scheduled June 15 move to campus will
		be delayed is increasing, but there are no firm plans yet.
		If the move is delayed substantially, there will likely be an
		attempt to move SCORE there sooner and make the link to the SUMEX
		IMP work (more hardware).
